Sample Academic Success Centers Syllabus Statement

The Plant City Campus Academic Success Center provides learning environments, services, and resources designed to empower students to become successful, independent learners. The ASC provides free tutoring and resources for the following subject areas: Writing (for essays in all courses), Math, and Science (Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, and Chemistry). Many campus ASCs also provide workshops designed to increase academic success, and current HCC students are welcome to use the Academic Success Center at any campus. To learn more about support offered at each of HCC’s five campuses, visit the ASC website (https://hccfl.edu/asc) or the ASC page on SharePoint. For more information about the ASC on the Plant City campus, visit PADM 119 or call 813-757-2202. Their business hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 7 PM.
