Section 9: Course Technology and Skills
Online course technology should enhance the student experience and promote engagement with and learning of the course content. Technology should not be employed in a course for its own sake. In addition, students should be informed of the minimum technology requirements and skills at the outset of the course as well as be provided with means for obtaining support for the required technology, if needed.
Course technologies include the tools in Canvas, plagiarism detection tools, online proctoring tools, videos, web-conferencing, publisher portals, and other tools used in the course.
