Publisher Tools
Below is information about using publisher materials and tools, including pairing publisher content with your Canvas courses, when relevant.
Free and Open Textbooks
Consider utilizing free and open educational materials and tools when feasible. Several studies such as this one have shown that using free and open textbooks can increase student success and equity in courses. See these resources:
- Open textbook vendors: OpenStax, Lumen Learning
- Search for open textbooks: Open Textbook Library
- HCC resources: OER Hub, OER LibGuide
